Personal Insolvency Trends
Global information services company, Experian, have issued a press release (21 September 2015 – PERSONAL INSOLVENCIES DROP IN THE NORTH regarding the changes in fortunes of towns around the country. Their analysis of recently published statistics shows that the home of BRI’s head office, Northampton, is #28 in the list of Top 30 improving towns and nearby Kettering is at #4. Stevenage, close to our newest office in Hitchin, is #16 on the list.
Sadly, Banbury, where we have had an office for some 20 years, is now ranked #6 on the list of 30 towns seeing the biggest rise in personal insolvencies.
The report goes on to say that increasingly people across the UK are benefitting from improving financial conditions and are becoming more financially savvy.
Personal insolvency levels are continuing to fall overall and at BRI we would continue to urge anyone, whether in business or not, finding themselves in financial difficulties to seek advice from someone willing and able to give them best advice irrespective of the outcome for the advisor. BRI are happy to give such initial advice free of charge and without commitment or obligation
