UPDATE: 29 August 2017

Photo Corporation (UK) Limited t/a PixiFoto (“the Company”) ceased to trade on Wednesday 5 July 2017 resulting in the immediate closure of all 49 studios. 

Creditors and customers are advised that it is anticipated that the Company will be placed into liquidation on 20 September 2017 and that Peter Windatt and John Rimmer will be appointed joint liquidators.

The closure of the Company has no impact on any Mothercare or Debenhams stores.

Deposits

Q:        I have paid a deposit for a photoshoot sitting but did not have an opportunity to attend due to the Company ceasing to trade, will I receive a refund?

A:        Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued.  However, another photography company has offered to honour all booked sittings. A link to the photography company’s website is below:

Q:        I have paid a deposit for a photo frame but have not received it due to the Company ceasing to trade, will I receive a refund?

A:        Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued.  You will need to submit details of your claim in writing to BRI 100 St James Road, Northampton, NN5 5LF.

Q:        I have paid a deposit for either a Gold, Silver or Bronze package but have not received the link to my online gallery or physical printed photos.  Will I receive a refund?

A          Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued.  You will need to submit details of your claim in writing to BRI 100 St James Road, Northampton, NN5 5LF.

Physical Print Orders:

Q:        Will I receive my physical print orders which I have already paid for?

A:        Only prints relating to orders placed from 1 June 2017 are being stored by my office for 2 months (31 October 2017).  To claim your print you will need to email rmcdonald@briuk.co.uk with the following information:

Store location

Name

Address

Contact telephone number

If the prints are not claimed, they will be destroyed.

For orders prior to June, if you do not receive your print by post/courier by Friday 8 September, then unfortunately, you will not receive your order.  You will need to submit details of your claim in writing to BRI 100 St James Road, Northampton, NN5 5LF.

Q:        My physical print(s) are damaged or blemished, will I receive a refund or replacement prints?

A:        Unfortunately, no replacement or refund will be available.

Q:        Is another company able to print my copyrighted photographs?

A:        Yes.  We are informed that the Company provided all customers with a permission letter to enable customers to reproduce images.

Vouchers:

Q:        I have paid for a voucher, will I receive a refund?

A:        No.  Unfortunately a refund will not be available.  However, another photography company has offered to honour all vouchers. A link to the photography company’s website is below:

Online Gallery:

Q:        How long can I access my online gallery photos?

A:        The online gallery will be active until 30 November 2017.  Following the gallery being closed, customers will no longer be able to gain access.  Customers are advised to download their images as soon as possible.

Q:        I am unable to access my online gallery because I have forgotten my login details, do BRI have access to       this information?

A:        No.  We do not hold customer log in information.  However, we are advised that customers are able to reset their own passwords.

Q         I have lost the link to access my gallery.  Can you resend the link?

A          Unfortunately, we are not able to re-send the link.  If you are unable to locate the original link, you will not be able to activate your gallery.

UPDATE: 4 August 2017

Photo Corporation (UK) Limited t/a PixiFoto (“the Company”) ceased to trade on Wednesday 5 July 2017 resulting in the immediate closure of all 49 studios. 

Creditors and customers are advised that the proposed liquidation of the Company, initially convened for 3 August 2017, is now being delayed in order to deal with an unexpected high volume of customer enquiries.

A revised notice to creditors will be circulated in due course

The closure of the Company has no impact on any Mothercare or Debenhams stores.

Customers 

We are informed that recent customer orders which have been paid for in full will be fulfilled.  Your images will be available online and you will be able to access those using your usual log in details.

If you are a customer who had a photoshoot in the last 12 months and  you have not yet collected your printed photos from the Company but now wish to do so, please also contact the customer services department on 0870 241 5000 or alternatively, you can send an email to csd@pixifoto.co.uk.

All customer queries should be directed to the customer services department, not Mothercare or Debenhams.

If you have already logged your query with the customer services department please continue to bear with the Company and wait for a response.

5 July 2017:  Photo Corporation (UK) Limited t/a PixiFoto (“the Company”) ceased to trade on Wednesday 5 July 2017 resulting in the immediate closure of all 49 studios.

The Company will be placed into liquidation on 3 August 2017 and it is anticipated that Peter Windatt and John Rimmer of BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency will be appointed joint liquidators.  Notice of the liquidation will be circulated to creditors shortly.

The closure of the Company has no impact on any Mothercare or Debenhams stores.

Customers
