31 July 2018: The latest UK insolvency statistics (to June 2018 (Q2 2018)) have garnered little interest from either the press or the profession. It appears that it is a no-news-is-good-news story.
For companies, the numbers are down against the previous quarter and up against the same quarter of the previous year. For individuals, the numbers continue to grow with the increased use of IVA meaning that the highest quarterly number since their introduction was recorded last quarter.
At BRI our numbers are holding up and we are looking to find at least two administrators (whether trainee, junior or senior) in our MK and Northampton offices – if you are interested, or know anyone who might be interested, in joining the BRI team please do get in touch.
